New Managing Director for Sports Marketing Surveys
After more than 20 years as head of the Company, Stephen Proctor has withdrawn from day to day operations which will become the role of new appointee, Frank Saez.
Stephen Proctor remains a director of Sports Marketing Surveys and a member of the IFM Group Management Board. IFM took over Sports Marketing Surveys in 2007 and ever since has intensified cooperation with the English research consultant.
Stephen Proctor has successfully and with great commitment led this merger after selling the firm and has embedded his former Company as an important cornerstone of the IFM Group. This has now been accomplished as evidenced by the change in name to IFM Sports Marketing Surveys. Stephen is convinced that the hitherto direction and strategy should be pursued: "The basis for a further positive development of Sports Marketing Surveys within the IFM Group has been provided and I am looking forward to helping move the process along."
Frank Saez, former vice president of IMG research division Comperio and director of research at Kagan Media World will take over as Managing Director. At Sports Marketing Surveys he meets an excellent and experienced team to extend the Company's market position in research and consulting, and to speed up the combination of skills and services within the group to provide comprehensive, bespoke and seamless solutions on a global level.
Heinz Abel, Chief Executive Officer of the IFM Group takes an optimistic look ahead: "Stephen Proctor has turned Sports Marketing Surveys into one of the leading players and with an excellent team and likewise solutions has successfully tied it to the IFM Group for which we would like to thank him.
